Delicious food and comfy room, but check-in wasn't very smooth.

i had a wonderful stay at the devonshire arms! the food was fantastic, especially the sunday dinner, and the wine selection was impressive. the staff was lovely and very accommodating—they immediately set up our twin beds with no fuss. my favorite part was the tea making area in the room with amazing biscuits. very comfy and cozy!

I stayed in a classic double room with a super comfy bed and awesome amenities like a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and free toiletries. The room had a nice bath and shower combo, which was perfect after long walks. The food was excellent, with highlighted dishes like courgette and feta. Great service from staff made it even better.

The breakfast spread was spot on, with a range of hot and cold options that fueled our adventures. Plus, that giant rolltop bath made our stay feel like a right royal treat!

While we enjoyed the digs, the dining experience left us a bit raw. Had to wait over an hour for our mains, and the food itself was just average—definitely not worth the hype.

Had a decent 2-night stay, room was nice enough but could've been a bit more exciting for the price. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The dinner at the bar was great, although that cheese board for 16 quid was a bit much for just 3 slices! really enjoyed the peaceful vibes.

Our one-night stay felt special thanks to the welcoming staff and beautiful Classic Double Room. Enjoy the delightful Derbyshire cream tea and indulge in the exquisite three-course dinner. Opt for a room away from the bar area for added tranquility, but the village pub charm is worth savoring!

Beautiful room, beautiful staff, our stay was complemented by the cozy stylish decor, huge rolltop bath, and fabulous wet room that made our weekend truly memorable. we also enjoyed the outstanding breakfast and free parking that added to the convenience of our explorations.

Large comfy bed and great food, but modern amenities lacked attention, like the empty mini bar.

The room was fantastic, especially having a separate sitting area that made relaxing a breeze after exploring the area. We enjoyed some peaceful time on the sun terrace and took in the lovely garden views, which were a perfect way to unwind. The only minor hiccup was the coffee in the morning could've been a bit stronger, but everything else was spot on! 😊
